Can you eat probiotic food while taking probiotic supplements?
Listening to your body is very important, and you will be able to tell if your stomach starts to feel a bit off again while experimenting with probiotic-rich foods (especially if you are already taking a probiotic supplement!) If you are taking a probiotic supplement, you are most likely still be ok to eat probiotic-rich food - although we recommend that you discuss starting any kind of probiotics supplements or other supplementation with your NZ healthcare provider first for advice.
Most foods where probiotics are found are made through the process of fermentation and are effective at providing the gut with some good bacteria. Foods that are naturally rich and dense with probiotics are:
Kefir (A fermented milk drink)
Sauerkraut (Fermented shredded cabbage)
Aged Cheddar Cheese
While we don’t know of any serious side effects of taking our probiotic supplements as per the directions, if at any time you experience discomfort, your body may be telling you that this kind of supplementation is not for you. Always discuss with your healthcare professional before starting any kind of supplementation, especially if you suffer from any conditions.

Some children may be allergic to food such as: Gluten, Dairy, Egg, or Nuts.
